Through years of ministry rooted in biblical teaching and discipleship, he has guided individuals and church communities toward a deeper grasp of grace, purpose, and spiritual maturity. He is married to Deborah Bitrus Gyang, and they have two children, Jakaya and Hellah.

Biografie

John Umaru Rikka is a devoted Christian teacher, pastor, and mentor whose passion is helping believers understand who they are in Christ and live confidently from that truth. He followed and completed his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN), an affiliate of the University of Jos, in the city of Bukuru in Nigeria. After his studies he became a lecturer at TCNN. In 2020 John moved to the Netherlands for a PhD program with the Religion and Theology department at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
