Little Dragon Peppernose has a big problem—every time he sneezes, fire bursts from his nose! The other creatures are scared and try to stay away. But Peppernose isn’t mean—he just needs help.

This tiny dragon just wants to be happy and feel loved. He’s not scary or mean—he’s just a little different. Whenever he sneezes, flames shoot out of his nose! But instead of being afraid, the other animals try to help him. They know he’s a kind dragon who just needs a little support. As he travels across the land, he meets all sorts of animals. Each one gets a tiny puff of heat from his sneeze, but they all try to help him with their own kind of advice to keep the flames under control. The kindness of others brings him on a journey to find a good and solid solution so he can live in a world where he’s accepted and cared for—and maybe, just maybe, sneeze without setting things on fire!

Biografie

One person who attempts to accept life as it comes is Pieter Roskam. This characteristic is also seen in Little Dragon Peppernose. Due to his open-minded and inquisitive nature, he had to travel the world after being born in the Netherlands. Among the many nice and compassionate people he encountered, he found a piece of his inspiration to write. Writing a story like this gives the excitement of seeing the picture while there is nothing there. Finding the words to reach out and touch people with the things found, little things that make life as great as it is. That is what Little Dragon Peppernose experiences: finding the things that make life great.
